Finally Okorocha Officially Handover To Gov.Ihedioha After 9 Days Of His Exit

The long awaited hand over note expected the immediate past Imo  Governor, Owelle Anayochukwu Rochas Ethelbert Okorocha, to Gov.Emeka Ihedioha which has been belated for weeks now, has finally handed over to the SSG, Rt.Hon.Barr.Uche Onyeagocha, by the Principle Secretary to the Immediate past Governor,  Hon Arch.  Emeka Duru,who represented the immediate outgone Imo Governor,on Thursday 6th June 2019 at the Cabinet Office Owerri.

 

Receiving the Note, the SSG to the State Government,  Rt Hon Uche Onyeagocha made it known to the Public that the So called  hand over which supposed to has been done by the Immediate past Governor, to the Imo State Governor Hon.Emeka Ihedioha,on or before the inauguration date of the new Government which was on 29th May 2019.

 

He frowned, at the negligence of the Immediate past Governor who refused to hand over officially to the present Governor Ihedioha.

The SSG moreso displayed the hand over note to The Chief of Staff to the present Governor, Barr.Chris Okewulonu, who also described the document as a “so called hand over note”.

 

“It is grossly belated, it supposed has been taken place between on or before 29th May 2019. It is not in consonant with the legal requirements of any Government, the truth has come out, it supposed not to be like that after 9 days of the swearing_in of the present Government”,Barr.Okewulonu submitted.

 

The Chief of Staff further said,”a copy of the hand over note should have been sent to the earlier to the present govt.before now for proper view between the outgone and the current govt.of Imo State.

 

We will the Document and further study them, and then let Imolites judge if the said “handing over note” meet up with the standard requirements”.
