A Federal High Court in Dutse Jigawa State has stopped the Jigawa State Independent Electoral Commission from conducting the next coming local government elections schedule to take place on the on July 1st.
The court gave the order following a case filed by the PDP in the state citing marginalization by Jigawa State Independent Electoral Commission even after they have purchased forms worth over N60 million.
The party’s counsel Barrister Yakubu Riba who was in court also confirmed the story and assured that the court will serve the Jigawa state independent electoral commission within the next 24 hours.
