For Fear Of Embarrassment, Bauchi Government Summons Azare Medical Director, Others With Queries For Accepting Donations

When the Medical Director and the Management of Azare General Hospital in Bauchi State received donations from a philanthropist in the State, the entire hospital management and even patients were happy, but little did they know that their ecstasy will be cut short.

As gathered by universalreporters247.com, a son of Bauchi Air Commodore Malami Soja Gololo after seeing the pains and cries of the management of the Azare General hospital as well as the cries of Azare people decided to come to their rescue when donated a Transformer, he also gave a contract for repairing the generator of the Hospital, he also gave a contract for the completion and furnishing of the Hospital’s Mosque. The retired Air Commodore also donated 1000 mattresses.

However, the Hospital Management received a shock of their lives when they were summoned and queried by the Governor to explain why they accepted the transformer and other things without the consent of the State Government.

As gathered by universalreporters247.com, the Medical Director of the Hospital Dr. Baba Azare and other management of the Hospital were invited to report at the State capital.

Meanwhile, Katagum elites have stated that the work must continue, as they cannot sit and watch effort by a good individual to change the face of the Hospital and the State Government for fear being embarrassed will then stop it.

According to them, if the Government felt embarrassed, why has they left the hospital unattended since.

Universalreporters247.com, the Management of the Hospital as well as the Azare people had at different occasions begged and appealed to the State Government for help and assistance in tackling the dilapidation of the Hospital, but that their request fell on deaf ears, as they Hospital remained the way it is until help came to it recently through a son of Bauchi.

Before the donations came, it was gathered that the Hospital was not connected to a national gird, even as it Generator was functioning.

As learnt, nobody knows the action the Governor will take against members of the Hospital Management Board having queried and demanded that they report to his office in Bauchi.

Some Katagum people who spoke with this medium on the condition of anonymity, said that they feel the Governor’s action depicts fear of being embarrassed as he is always lost in thought of the activities or the workings of his imagined opinionated foes.
