FCT Public Complaints Commission, Commissioner Musa Seeks Collaboration Between FCT Complaints Commission And Federal Road Safety Corps

The Honourable Commissioner Public Complaints Commission, FCT, Comrade Ezekiel Musa has called for synergy between the Public Complaints Commission FCT and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

Musa, who spoke during a courtesy visit to the headquarters of the Federal Road Safety Corps in Abuja on Monday said the collaboration was necessary to ensure efficient service delivery to residents of the Federal Capital Territory. He said the Public Complaints Commission is constitutionally empowered to protect Nigerians against all kinds of administrative injustice.

“We shall synergize and have a cordial relationship in resolving issues that may come before us. I am going to assure you that we are going to have a smooth working relationship to ensure that nobody is short-changed to ensure that the people of Nigeria would have no reason but to applaud what you are doing through us and to ensure everyone’s rights is protected accordingly” he said.

The Commissioner commended the agency for its efforts in ensuring safety on highways across the country.

In his response, Corps Marshal, Mr Boboye Oyeyemi, who was represented by the Deputy Corps Marshal in charge of Administration and Human Resources, Mrs Ojeme Ewhrudjakpo, said the agency will welcome collaboration with the Complaints Commission as part of its efforts towards achieving its goals.

” Let me appreciate you for coming to see us three weeks after your resumption of office, it shows a heart for working and doing what is right. To tell you we always reply and comply with your office whenever it is that you have complained about we normally would give a listening ear. We also want that synergy and like you have said there are a lot of complaints against us l come to you” the Corps Marshal said.
