FCT Police Probe Death Of Woman Found In Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has launched an investigation into the death of a woman found in the Kubwa area of Abuja.

Her body was discovered on the Kubwa expressway on Tuesday, with her bag containing her identity card and other personal belongings nearby.

Documents suggest she may have been a staff member of the FCT High Court.

Police spokesperson Josephine Adeh confirmed detectives are working on the case, stating: “The FCT Police Command is aware of this sad incident.

“Discreet investigations are ongoing to unravel the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident”.

This incident follows the killing of nurse Chinemerem Chuwumeziem, who was found dead after leaving her shift at the Federal Medical Centre, Jabi.

The National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives condemned her death, sparking outrage.
