Father, Wife 3 Children Burnt To Ashes In Bukuru Of Jos South LGA

A wild fire outbreak has claimed the lives of father, mother and their three Children’s in Bukuru town of Jos South local Government area of Plateau State.

Our Correspondent who visited the house situated at Madaki Street reported that the only Surviving daughter of the family escaped the fire because she slept at her grandmother’s place few meters away.

Eyewitness, Ismail Alhassan who is also neighbor to the late Adamu Yusuf known as Danlami and his wife Maryam, including their kids died in the inferno.

He said frantic efforts were made by sympathizers who had to break the room but before they could enter, “all the family was dead“.

According to him, “lack of adequate water hampered efforts of the neighbors who had to go to far distance place in search of water“.

Father of the deceased, Mallam Yusuf Lantaki expressed sadness over the unfortunate development that now left him with only one Granddaughter, Amina.

He explained that “ as a Muslim I knew that they have all gone to where we shall all go to sooner or later“.

Community leader, Alhaji Danjami Garba also expressed great pains over what he described as “a painful lost “
