Family Ask Anti-Graft Agencies To Prosecute Former Sacked ITF Director, Joe Bitrus Over Illegal Selling Of House Belonging To Inspector Danjuma Ventim

Former dismissed Director of Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Mr. Joe Bitrus has been accused of conspiring with syndicates to sell a house located at No 2nd Avenue federal Low cost.

It was gathered that Bitrus forcefully ejected the owner of the building who bought the said property from the Federal Mortgage Bank Jos branch in 1993, as gathered the sold house belongs to a Police officer who bought the said property as owner occupier.

In a petition submitted by the Ventim’s family who are the owners of the sold house stated that Bitrus removed some vital documents  belonging to the buyer, a retired Inspector of Police Danjuma Ventim using staff of the Ministry Of Housing in 2005 to get the documents he needed for the act.

The family of Inspector Danjuma Ventim has called for proper investigation by the Anti-graft agencies to arrest and prosecute Joe Bitrus who already has sold several houses.

The family of Danjuma Ventim has charged the federal government to take adequate measure toward addressing the plight of those that were wrongly defaulted by Federal Housing Authority on Low-cost Houses in the 36 states of Nigeria.

This call was made available by our correspondent in Jos over the Plateau State Federal Low-cost 2 bedroom bungalow which was forcefully taken over by former Governor Joshua Dariye’s Commissioner and SA Mr Joe Bitrus.

Facts available revealed that Mr. Joe Bitrus indiscriminately sold houses which were bought by the original owners on owner’s occupiers bases.
