Exposed: The Alleged Unseen Hand Of Hon Idriss Maje In The Recent Mining Crisis And Arrest of Alleged Illegal Miners In Wase, Plateau–Wase Youth Group

There was jubilation as Mammoth crowd welcomed the released twelve (12) miners who were arrested by the federal Government for alleged illegal mining in Wase Local Government Council of Plateau state.
The Youth Chairman in Wase LGA has blasted member representing Wase Federal Constituency, Hon Ahmed Idris Maje for conniving with the minister for Solid Mineral and the Plateau state Government as well as the National Security Adviser in their bid to arrest some of their youths for alleged illegal mining in Kampany Zurak.
Spokesperson of the group says, twelve of their youths in Wase LGA were arrested as he said that they are disappointed how the Federal House Reps member betrayed them after the overwhelming votes given him for his 3rd term in office by them.
He applauded the managing Director of Solid unit Nig ltd, Alh Abdullahi ADamu Usman alias (Danchina) for creating jobs for the teeming youths of the area where he engaged many of them.
“We are assuring the member representing Wase Federal House of Representative that ahead of 2019 he will not get our mandate due to the magnitude of public disgrace, harassment and intimidation some of our colleagues suffered in the hand of security personnel’s while in detention.”
It would also recalled that, Hon Idris Ahmed Maje was allegedly accused by top Tarok leaders for inciting crisis for him to benefit, adding ,the 1998 lingering communal clashes which many of them lost their loved once involving Tarok settlements in Bashar district was orchestrated under his watch.
According to the statement the Youth Chairman, the recent genocide carried out in Kadarko district where lives, properties worth million was burnt down including security personnel serving in the area were attacked saw no single statement from him condemning the act.
The statement blamed him of nursing the secret ambition to take control of the mining communities to himself and chase away other miners who have been exploring the area for decades.
The statement advised the federal lawmaker to trade the path of peaceful resolution rather than embarking on violent attack to cause disaffection and disunity amongst the peace loving people of Wase LGA.
It was gathered that the crises in Wase LGA had created underdevelopment of council owing to various group preaching religion and tribal divide for economic control of the area.
Universalreporters247.com learnt that mining in Kampany Zurak under Bashar district of Wase LGA started in the18th century, an area that has been described by the council as the commercial hub of Plateau with rich solid minerals in Nigeria.
However, it would be recalled that during a meeting last year, the former Chairman of Wase LGA, Hon Jacob Dashe reminded, Hon Maje that since crisis broke up then no villages belonging to the Tarok Native was spared and that there were no process of reconciliation scheduled to settle the aggrieved people.
In that meeting he lamented that Bashar people kept alleging that they are one with the Tarok yet they always betray them ,he added that between 1979 to 1983 Late Chief Solomon Daushep Lar the great emancipator put aside the Tarok sentiment to appoint Hon Yakubu Idris as commissioner for Agriculture.
Chief Lar built secondary schools; construct roads linking with electrification of the district yet his people were brutally murdered and massacred for selfish political gimmick by the same people he then helped as their brothers.
The then Chairman then expressed regret that Late Useni Bali in Safiyo was hacked to dead at his residence for them to steal and vandalize all his properties which was an act of discord.
It was also gathered that webs of civil plot that was amicably settled by then first civilian governor of Plateau state is now taking center stage as attack, maiming against his kinsmen by the same group he provided platform of unity is on the rise again.
Meanwhile as learnt by this medium, the former commissioner for information, Hon Dauda Samuaila Lamba who played key role in Lamba wakkat ward is suffering leadership threat and confusion for standing with Muslim Ummah after dethroning Hon Jacob Dashe.
It would also be recalled the then Emir Dr Haruna Abdullahi Wase invited the Iya Lamba to produce his son as the secretary of the council and the son Dauda fit into the position, however that bought rivalry which caused wanton destruction of lives and properties.
However findings by this medium revealed that some political bigwigs in the state are trying to control the economic control of mining communities in Kampany Zurak ,the member representing Wase federal constituency ,Hon Ahmed Maje has been alleged to have concluded plan to use Governor Simon Lalong to suspend His Royal Highness ,the Emir of Wase ,HRH , Sambo Haruna Abdullahi from the throne which will pave way for smooth take off of his own mining company.
As learnt by this medium it has become very obvious that the personality clash between Emir of Wase and Federal House of Rep Member representing Wase is a clear pointer that all is not well with them which is now changing from body language to physical demonstration of the arrests made so far.
The long standing history of conflict between the Bashar district and the Wase Emirate council may soon resume as hostility is manifesting itself after years of unresolved hatred which Chief Solomon Daushep Lar settled by creating second class chief the Retna of Bashar.
The internal chieftaincy tussle over this same Mining area in the 80s is now resurfacing as the two factional leaders who joined hands to forceful uproot the Tarok people during regime of former Governor Joshua Dariye are now gradually exposing themselves for a dance in the market square .
