Exposed: Plateau PDP Chairman, Dabo In Alleged Secret Meeting With Gov. Lalong Ahead of Plateau PDP Congress

The People Democratic Party (PDP),Plateau state Chapter, chairman Raymond Dabo has been accused of organizing secret meeting Governor Simon Lalong.

The secret meeting which was held behind close door at an unidentified office in the state capital raises political concern among bigwigs in the PDP.

Information available gathered that the tenure of the state Chairman of the PDP will end on March 12 and the Chairman of PDP Hon. Raymond Dabo is planning to cause crisis after the expiration of his tenure, while the wards tenure end on the 2nd March and the local governments executives tenure is schedule to end on the 8th, March 2016.

The crisis which led to downfall of the state losing to opposition deepened as there was crisis between the state executive members and this attracted problem between the chairman and the organizing secretary which translated into rivalry leading to the collapse of the party structure in the state.

Universalreporters247.com gathered that the stakeholders slammed Raymond Dabo for selling the party to Governor Simon Lalong who is also a Goemai man thereby destroying support of PDP in the State.

They group fingered him for sponsoring and associating himself with difference political group thus bringing hatred within the party structure.

The coordinator of PDP youth forum, Comrade Joel Jelani Jonathan whose organization spread across the 17 local governments with structures from local Governments to the unit level.

“The organization is working toward ensuring that the forthcoming wards, local governments and state congresses of the largest political party in Africa the PDP will give a very clear dimension of people oriented government in Nigeria,” he noted.

According to him, at such we are calling on all the aspirants to whichever positions they are seeking to carefully walk up to the challenges of resuscitating the party at both wards, local govt and state level.

He, however, said; “this will go a long way in giving the entire supporters of our great party a sense of direction as we all wait the 2019 general election.

“We the youth of PDP forum are drumming our loyalty and support to whoever emerges as the candidates of the party in the state and national level”.

We use this opportunity to congratulate Dr Ali  Amodu Sheriff over his elevation as the chairman of the biggest political party in Africa .

Jonathan said PDP youth forum is categorically saying we don’t need rulers but leaders, PDP chairman that is youth oriented, we need people that cannot be bought or who will sell the people’s conscious but stood firm for  the cause of transforming and resuscitating the party structure.
