Exposed: How Plateau APC Is Planning To Withdraw Security Officials In Langtang LGAs, Planning To Disrupt Voting-Lar

The Daughter  of Late Solomon  Daushep  Lar, who is a Member  Representing  Langtang South, North Federal  Constituency Hon Benshak Butmak Lar  has disclosed  that  her Father who is the Chairman of the People Democratic Party, PDP,    was dared by the  All Progressive Congress, APC, threatening   to disrupt the Saturday elections  by drawing Nigerian Security and Civil  Defense  Corp, NSCDC.

Addressing a world press conference at Beach  road, Chief  Solomon  Daushep Lar residence in Jos, Butmak Lar said she is using  this  medium  to create  an enlightenment awareness  to the  world that  there is  a secret  plan on ground to harass , intimidate and molest voters this  coming  weekend to scare them from coming  out to cast their  votes for the candidates of their  choice.

According to her, the people of Langtang South North are very peaceful in nature but plans unveil that some assailants were smuggled into villages to truncate and not to allow democracy to play free, fair and credible exercise by plotting to disrupt, frustrate the conduct of the election.

Lar called on Federal government to deploy more security to prevent the breakdown of law and order so as to allow peaceful conduct and transparency in the system.

She condemned where the security personnel would take sides in government, we sighted some group of young men that they are planning to use to cause violence and intimidation on voters.

Hon Beni Large explained further that APC plots to import thugs that would come and vandalize, snatch INEC sensitive election materials across the two local governments in polling units were they know that PDP stronghold is Langtang North, South.

She raised alarm over the threat to Gubernatorial candidate, Senatorial and Federal House of Rep seats which Lalong vowed to use thugs to make the area ungovernable by attacking voters during voting,we have alerted security that what the Tarok people want is peaceful conduct of elections.

Lar cautioned that Nigerian residents shouldn’t allow their peaceful disposition to be distracted, appealing to security not to compromise their position or nobody should be allowed to be used as agents to foment trouble with the lives of innocent people.

The Southern Zonal Chairman of the PDP, Honestly Simon Domle called on government to conduct free, fair and credible devoid of any rancor.

He warned that we should not allow this democracy to be truncated by some selfish politicians whose stock in trade is cause disaffection amongst the peace-loving citizens of Langtang North and South LGAs.

Domle maintained that he saw a group of thugs higher by the APC to unleash terror attacks on the innocent people but when we confronted them they were immediate loaded inside vehicles to an unknown place.

He, however, stressed that the community leader confirms the influx of unknown gunmen armed to their teeth with dangerous weapons.

Meanwhile, the senatorial candidate of the PDP, Barr. Dindam Kefas who spoke through phone explained his experience of a strong plot to disrupt the Saturday elections in Langtang North and South.

Mr. Changkur Sule reiterated that the challenges of Saturday election are mostly insecurity where the withdrawal of Civil Defense in the councils might likely cause a serious problem.

Sule advised politicians to understand that election is not a do or die affair, asking those who are nursing the mind of creating kiosk to have a rethink, especially in this election.
