Executive Secretary Jigawa Pilgrims Board Charges New LGAs Pilgrims Officer To Exhibit Fear Of Allah

1one4-Jigawa-pilgrims-will-9f849The Executive Secretary Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alh.Sani Alhassan Muhammed has charged the  newly appointed local government pilgrims welfare officers in the state to exhibit fear of Allah and sincerity in the discharge of their duties.

He made the call yesterday, while addressing the welfare officers during the opening of a one day sensitization workshop for the officers held at state capital.

The Executive Secretary explained that, the workshop was organised to orient the newly appointed pilgrim’s welfare officers on their roles and responsibilities so as to carry out their duties effectively in Nigeria and the holy land.

Alh. Sani Alhassan Muhammed pointed out that, the success of Hajj operation in their respective local government areas was largely depended on their total support and cooperation in handling the affairs of their pilgrims.

He further called on them to inculcate value of patient, discipline, and oderliness in their minds throughout hajj operation so as to meet up to expectation.

In his presentation, the head of operation unit of the board, Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo said among their roles is to assist in guiding their respective intending pilgrims on basic hajj procedures and other related matters.

He added that, the officers will also liaise with their respective zonal officers on issues relating to pilgrims for taking appropriate measures by the board.

Another presenter, Mallam Mahmud Yunus, Chief Imam of 744 mosques, Dutse draw the attention of the pilgrims welfare officers to prove their leadership qualities by accounting their good performance in pilgrims management and abiding the stipulated law.

In his closing remarks, the Director Admin and Finance of the board, Alhaji Adamu Abdullahi enjoin the welfare officers to extend their maximum support and cooperation to the board and avoid spreading rumour mongering on all hajj operation issues.
