According to findings by this medium almost all the aides in the Deputy Governor’s office were appointed by Okowa for the Deputy Governor, a move which this medium learnt didn’t go down well with the Deputy Governor. Universalreporters247.com gathered that these appointments are part of the SAs, SSAs and PAs which he appointed.
According to a source who spoke to this medium said; “this has not gone down well with the Deputy Governor, Barrister Kingsley Otuaro who feels that he has some persons to reward through appointments, and as such should have been allowed to appoint his own aides or nominates those who he wants to work with.”
Universalreporters247.com findings reveals that even though, the governor and the deputy shows face of cordiality in public and at various functions, a very reliable source who spoke confided that Otuaro is very bitter towards Okowa who packed Ika aides to him, instead of his normal ijaw boys that should be in his office working with him.
This medium learnt that to add salt to injury, Delta Governor Okowa, is not really bothered on how Otuaro feels right now, since President Goodluc Jonathan, an Ijaw man whom Tompolo that nominated Otuaro would have run to complain so he will caution him the governor is no longer in power.
However, the nitty-gritty of the matter is that in this show of power, impeachment proceedings will soon be moved against Otuaro once the tribunal rule in favor of Okowa, as pundits believed the tribunal will roll to his favour.
In a related development, this medium also gathered from the source that Governor Okowa secretly borrowed N2.8 billion last month to pay August salaries, but it is not certain if he got approval from the State House of Assembly and the State Executive Council as requested by law.
