…….YOWICAN Elects New Excos
A rare show of love and strong continued commitment to the Christian youth community and to the body of faith in general, Engr. Daniel Kadzai, a former National President of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), made an extraordinary appearance at the association’s General Assembly.
The general assembly is a landmark gathering for YOWICAN members nationwide, which hinges on electing a new set of national executives to steer the organization forward in its mission of empowering Christian youths, promoting unity, faith-based advocacy, and national development.
Received affectionately by delegates, Kadzai an engineer and a strong voice at interfaith and socio-political, both at local and national as well as international discourse, presence added splendor to the event, as delegates showered encomium to former leaders for guidance amid the transition to new leadership.
What was the rave of the moment, which ultimately brought about ovation and approbation, was when Engr. Kadzai donated ₦1,000,000 (One Million Naira) to YOWICAN.
According to Kadzai, President, Coalition of Christian Groups for Good Governance Nigeria and Diaspora (COCGOG), the contribution is to bolster the association’s activities, which include youth empowerment programs, outreach initiatives, and operational support, to ensure the new executive can hit the ground running.
Speaking to the media, Kadzai said, “I remain deeply passionate about the role of Christian youth in shaping a better Nigeria,” Kadzai said.
“This General Assembly marks not an end, but a renewal. My donation is a seed of faith and support—may it grow into greater impact for evangelism, leadership training, and unity among our young people.”
“I urge the new executives to lead with integrity, vision, and unwavering commitment to the gospel and national harmony.”
With the election of Ademola Arowolo Daniel as YOWICAN’s new national chairman, all eyes are on how his leadership and his executives will continue to raise the bar on the Christian youth body as well to follow the footsteps that has already been built on the association by former leaders Engr. Kadzai.
