Ex-Fiance To Col Hameed Ali’s New Wife Threatens Court Action Against Her Over Unsettled Bills

Barely 48 hours after the wedding of Zainab Abdullahi Yahaya the new wife of the Comptroller General of Customs, Col Hameed Ali (rtd), her former lover, Zubairu Dalhatu Malamai who claimed he had contractual marriage agreement with her and has as a result invested almost N10 million in her has threatened to take her to Court if she did not settle all the expenses he incurred on her, Desert Herald is reporting.

 

This shocking demand from the lawyers of Mr. Malamai at a time Col Ali is supposed to be celebrating his flamboyant marriage was exclusively obtained by medium  from the chamber that is representing the alleged former fiance of Zainab.

 

Zubairu Dalhatu Malamai has lamented in the letter that Col Ali’s new wife had been deceiving him for long and that because of her commitment and promised to marry him he has spent a lot of money on her and her parents.

 

Malamai said he decided to instruct his lawyers to write to Zainab because even after deciding to marry another man, she insulted him few days to her marriage with Col Ali and even asked him to calculate whatever he spent on her for repayment.

 

In the letter of demand, Malamai had requested the immediate repayment of the expenses he said he incurred for Zainab’s trip to Saudi Arabia, the UAE as well as a loan and house rent he paid for Zainab’s father. He also among others demanded the repayment of the money he gave for the payment of her shop rent at Haneefa Plaza as well as the money he borrowed to her father.

He also requested the payment of the money he allegedly gave her for her China trip, for the purchase of her car and for what he called kayan lefe etc.

 

The shocking revelation, the allegations against Zainab and Malamai’s threat of the Court action and the publicity given to it will no doubt turned the happiness the Hameed Ali family are probably enjoying as a result of the marriage to sadness as many will wonder the type of wife the Customs boss married and why such needless controversy and scandal at the early life of a supposedly promising marriage.
