From all indication the hand-picking of Barrister John Matthew as the running mate of PDP governorship contended in 28/2/2015 election in Nasarawa State is a scuttle yet to settle.
John Matthew, an Abuja base lawyer from the Eggon extraction would be a leverage for the opposition party in the state to have a landslide victory over the occupant of seat, Umaru Tanko Al- Makura.
It was learnt that John Matthew was a political son to the father of Eggon politics, Barrister Solomon Ewuga who was hell bent to sack the current governor from realising his second term bid in the APC.
The political value of Ewuga is descending to the abyss following the outcome of PDP governorship primaries held at Nasarawa Local Government is a pointer that Ewuga is no longer the grassroots mobilizer.
His defeat at the party guber primary election, analysts attributed the ethnic and communal uprising to the downfall of Barrister Solomon Ewuga who jumped ship from the APC to the PDP.
In other to actualised his governorship ambition, a dream that was shattered.
Unconfirmed source unfolded that governor Al-Makura has picked Silas Agara from Akwanga, the home base of the Mada as his running mate, the question that needed ardent answer was what was the political value of Agara to Mada politics, only time will tell.
Meanwhile, Bala Zakari, a defeated aspirant seeking for the slot of Senator Nasarawa South called on party supporters to garner support to all PDP candidates in next year election, saying he remain committed to ensure that the part have a landslide victory.
Appealing to party members to unite for the betterment of the party and the state.
