ENTRACO Set To Flag Off Operation Pick Up The Plastics

The Head of Operation of “Environmental Transformation Commission,ENTRACO,”Imo State,Hon.Chief  Udochukwu Anusiem,aka Oduebube I of Mbaitoli LGA,Imo State,has expressively vowed that his Commission is ever poised and ready to restore Imo ( Owerri Capital) as the most cleanliness state in Nigeria.

 

He made the assertion on Wednesday,June 26th 2019 at his Owerri office during a swift interview with some cross section of newsmen,even as he disclosed that he would achieve the project following his working experience in Environmental Management overseas.

 

The ENTRACO Operation Head,Chief Anusiem,”as apart of keeping the state clean,we must reposition the mind sets and mentality of the people of the state,because Imo under the leadership of the immediate past witnessed pandemonium in all the sectors discourtesy of the past govt.”

 

Hon.Anusiem,while speaking unveiled some of his commission’s plans,policies and agendas towards rebuilding Imo with Gov.Emeka Ihedioha.

 

He said “the Commission is poised to restore Imo State to be a dustless  city. To beautify the city of Owerri and its environs. To check mate the environment by making it free from influencer,pollution and stop the indiscriminate dumping of refuse. To make bring sanity into the transportation,so as to reduce the height of traffic jam in the city and to keep criminals and make Imo free from all forms of hazards”.

 

“With our well designed capable workforce,we shall control the indiscriminate dumping of refuse”,Anusiem submitted.

 

Oduebube,in his words disclosed that the commission is ready to officially launch what he described as “Operation Pick Up The Plastics,PUP”,which according to him was designed to engage Imolites on proper re-orientation,public enlightenment,advocacy and seminar so as to leave normal.

 

“We must copy from the Western World by making use of trash cans and waste bin for expected recycling of by-products”,Chief Anusiem stated.

 

He called on Imolites to abide by the rules and regulations guiding the Commission,so as to rebuild Imo.
