Emulate Late Governor Aliyu Akwe Doma-Governor Al-Makura

Nasarawa State governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has called on all and sundry to emulate the good virtues of hospitality, leadership, integrity modesty and patriotism exhibited by late Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma.

Al-Makura stated this during a condolence visit to the Andoma of Doma, Alhaji Aliyu Ogah Onawo and the deceased family of the late governor who died in Mier hospital in Tel Aviv.

The State governor described the death of the predecessor, Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma as a monumental loss not only to the people of Doma but to the entire people of Nasarawa State and Nigeria at large.

Governor Al-Makura stated that he would remain grateful to the late governor for his fatherly advice, support and loyalty he accorded to his government to succeed.

He said late Akwe Doma contributed immensely to the development of Nasarawa State as well played significant role for the creation of Nasarawa State.

Al-Makura prayed that Almighty Allah would grant the gentle soul of the deceased family, Doma traditional council the fortitude to bear the irrespirable loss.

The Andoma of Doma Alhaji Aliyu Ogah Onawo thanked governor Al-Makura for the support and assistance rendered to the deceased family before and after his death.

Saying the contributions of the governor would remain indelible in the minds of the people of Doma.

The Governor was accompanied on the condolence visit by the first lady, Hajiya Salamatu Al-Makura, wife of the Deputy Governor, Jummai Ali Agara and Hajiya Maryam Balarabe Abdullahi Wife of the speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly and others government officials.
