The Mayor of Apapa Mr. Ayodeji Joseph on Wednesday December 11th 2013 commissioned some innovative projects in Apapa, these included 3 coastal buses which will be used in conveying pupils to school for free in the local government and also, construction of new classrooms in major schools in the Local government.

According to the first lady Mrs. Bimbo Fashola who commissioned the projects on his behalf, ”these are great innovations despite lean purses of local governments in the state and pressure on infrastructure development, I am proud to be associated with Ayo,if other local government chairman are this passionate about their people, development will be faster” She added.
Also obas and other opinion leaders at the event showered praises on Ayodeji.
