Emir Of Wase Commends The Role Of Traditional Religion In Peace Building

The Emir of Wase Local Government of Plateau state, His Royal Highness, Dr  Sambo Haruna Abdullahi has admonished the role of traditional worshipers contribution in the area of peace building and  development with the current fragile peace being enjoy .

The Royal father stressed the need for maintaining of peaceful coexistence in Wase before the coming of Christianity and Islamic religion.

He gave this assurance during the award of peace Ambassador by global forum for peace and justice and human right peace society of Nigeria held at committee room 3 Hill station hotel, Jos .

Represented by the Galadima Wase , at the   NELMA ,children and women support foundation a one day summit organized in commemoration of the united Nation international Day of peace .

The Emir acknowledged the role of traditional worshipers which is the first religious of our people he said, as he said he is hereby  calling on everyone to respect the culture and traditions of people of Africa.

According to him, with the coming these two religious we should try to do the right thing because no religious preach the killing of one another in the of religious is barbaric and senseless that everybody shall give account of his stewardship on the Day of Judgment by our action.

Abdullahi commended the global forum effort for fostering peace on the plateau and Nigeria but promised his loyalty to the government of President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Simon Lalong .

He stressed peace is everybody business so we all need to work for the restoration of peace in our community.

The vice President ,Global Forum for peace and justice and human rights peace society of Nigeria ,Federic  Ayemade said the promised of building a society that everyone  will be accommodated depend on individual sacrifice.

He pointed out religious is what everyone met here on earth so all religion condemn the killing of each other as barbaric and foolishness to take innocent lives of one another if we really know that we are serving one God.

Ayemade cautioned people against the rising conflicts in our society ,says peace doesn’t means absence of war but called on the government to know that lack of food ,communication and enlightenment is poised to cause crisis among the youth.
