Emir Of Lafia Appeals To Security Agencies To Beef Up Security In Airport

The Emir of Lafia retired Justice Sidi Bage has appealed to joint security deployed to airports, seaports and free trade zone to beefed up security by ensuring aliens coming to the country are not allow due to the danger attached to coronavirus known as COVID 19.

 

The Chairman Nasarawa State Council of Chiefs who was ably represented by the State Secretary of Juma’tul Nasrul Islam, Mohammed Ali says stringent measure must be taken to curtailed widespread of the deadly.

 

“Our airports are porous even with the presence of Customs, Immigration and amongst other securiry agencies”.

 

The Emir of Lafia caution people in the habit of eating uncooked bush meat like rat and other rodents should desist to avoid been infected with the scourge.

 

A Chinese national and an Engineer with CCECC Construction firm, Horace Cao in his speech denied that coronavirus was not originated from Wuhan China but a virus from United Kingdom.

 

He called on Nigerians to adopt the preventive approach not to  fall a victim by avoiding worship places like mosque and churches and overcrowded places.

 

The state commissioner of health, Pharmacy Ahmed Yahaya says Nasarawa state is ready for coronavirus.

 

Saying the scourge has no cure currently, calling on the people of the state to keep their environmental cleanliness.

 

The State Commissioner of Information, Culture and Tourism, Comrade Dogo Shammah appealed to practicing Journalists on the need to sensitized the populace on personal hygiene  and environmental cleanliness.
