The Senator representing Nasarawa South senatorial district, Senator Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo,A Governorship aspirant of the African Democratic Congress in Nasarawa State, has felicitated with Muslims faithful and called on the two religious faiths to tolerate each other for the sake of peace and development in the State.
He stated this during an interview with Journalists at his abode in Doma Local Government Council of Nassarawa State.
He called on the people of Nasarawa State to continue to tolerate each other’s beliefs and values in order to sustain peace, harmony, socio-cultural and economic prosperity.
He described peace as a catalyst for the rapid development of every nation.
“As we mark the end of this year’s Ramadan Fast, I wish to felicitate with all Muslim faithful in the state, as we join millions of Nigerians and other brethren across the globe to mark the 2026 Eid el-Fitri (Sallah) celebration.
Urging the people of the State, especially, to take the opportunity of this sacred period to improve in our discipline, empathy, self-control, and generosity for the benefit of our society during this sacred period.
He urged Muslims to remain steadfast in sustaining the good deeds which we imbibed during Ramadan by applying the virtues in all our endeavours.”
