ECWA Bishara 1 Church Doma Held Special Prayer Session For Doma, Council Chairman

The Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA) Bishara 1 Doma held a Special Prayer Session for Doma Local Government and its Council Chairman, Honorable Jonathan Okuba Addra, for his quick recovery amidst the presence of creme de la crème cut across the length and breadth of the State.

With the theme of the Thanksgiving “Divine Thanksgiving”. The synagogue was filled as political appointees, mostly from the office of the State Deputy Governor, Dr.Emmanuel Akabe, graced the occasion.

Reverend Father Jeremiah Akuba, who led the Special Prayer Session, thanked God for the quick recovery of the executive Chairman. He, however, prayed for unity and prayed for God to unite and guide the people of Doma Local Government.

Reverend Father of Peace House, Bukan Sidi Lafia, Josiah Musa, called on the congregation to thank God for his mercy to spare the life of the Local Government Chairman, whom he said passed through the shadows of death during the attack.

“As he thanked God for shielding the Chairman for the people of Doma, saying God has preserved the Council Chairman because there is a pound and if he allowed the Chairman to died, he knows your kingdom will suffer.”

“Just prepare your mind that I’m not in the office to acquire wealth for myself but to put a laugh in the lips of the people”

Reverend Musa admonished the Council Chairman to allow the burden of his people to be his problem. With this, God will move you to a higher political position.

He, however, added that Nigeria will not continue like this, he, in addition,, opined that a time shall come when righteousness shall overcome the land.

Reverend Josiah Musa pray that may Almighty God deliver Nigerian politicians from evil doers and marauders.

The Council Chairman revealed to the crowd that he did not kill the mysterious cat; instead, I ordered my aides and security to kill and burn the cat to ashes.

“I will only recall that I had a severe headache and I was admitted at Federal University Teaching Hospital, Lafia (FUTH), and later to Federal Medical Center, Keffi, and to Abuja”.

According to Honorable Jonathan Okuba Addra,”in this church today they thanked God for the favour , attesting that he is doing his best in the area of addressing farmers/herders skirmishes”.

Also, in an effort to reduce the rate of death of farmers, I was able to procure anti-snake venom for farmers in my Local Government, he added.

The Chairman thanked the Christian Association of Nigeria, the Chief Imam of Doma, Muslims Ummah and traditional beliefs who supported him with prayers.
