Ebonyi State House Of Assembly In Crisis As Speaker Is Impeached
Crisis this erupted inside the Ebonyi State House of Assembly Monday morning, it also was gathered the crisis led to the impeachment of the Speaker, Chukwuma Nwazunku.
18 out of the 24 House members carried out the impeachment process, soon after the impeachment Hon. Helen Nwaobasi was elected by the House members to replace the impeached speaker in a motion which was moved by Hon. Eni Udoma and seconded by Hon. Jerry Obasi.
It will be recalled that legislatures earlier lifted the suspension which was slammed on three of their colleagues, before impeaching the Speaker, which includes the Deputy Speaker.
