The crisis in Nasarawa State has continued in spite of curfew placed in Lafia the state capital as universalreporters247.com gathered that this morning around 8:47AM people around Ibrahim Abacha Youth Center in Lafia were running and scampering for their safety following the explosion of a tear gas around the Premises of Unity Bank Shendam Road Branch.
It was gathered that Okada Riders in their multitude were shouting “they are coming, they are coming” as this caused further panic among the people at the vicinity. However, this paper gathered Mobile Police men attached to Unity Bank fired the tear gas on air.
It took the intervention of customers using the bank ATM machine to convince  the people that it wasn’t a gunshot. As it is schools, some banks, government offices remains closed following due to the renewed clashes in the state capital.
Our reporter authoritatively confirmed that Ogoja people from Wung are pulling out of their houses while the majority of the Eggon women and children are seen migrating to safer places.
Other people on the run are Migili people who are pulling out of Gidan Rai, Gidan Ausa, Agyaragu, Alwaza over an imminent attack by Fulani mercenaries in the state capital.
In spite of the curfew gunshots were heard around 16 Mango, Tundun Amba, which are all Eggon settlements.
