Dumdum Denies Bribery Allegations, Threatens Legal Action Against Uwazuruike Over Defamation

By Our Reporter

Following the trending videos currently circulating across social media platforms concerning the demolition of some properties allegedly linked to the leader of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, some close associates and friends of Amb. Prince Paschal Nwakamma (Dumdum), reportedly drew his attention to the allegations levelled against him by Uwazuruike in the viral films.

Reacting to the accusations, Prince Nwakamma expressed deep shock and disappointment over what he described as false, malicious and defamatory statements made against his person by Uwazuruike.

He categorically denied having any form of business dealings, financial transactions or land-related agreements with the MASSOB leader, insisting that the allegations involving the alleged sums of ₦7 million and ₦10 million are entirely fabricated and baseless to him .

Prince Nwakamma further stated that since leaving office as the former Special Adviser to the Governor on Lands Recovery, he has neither met nor engaged Chief Uwazuruike in any personal or official capacity.

According to him, the allegations were deliberately designed to tarnish his hard-earned reputation and mislead members of the public.

The former aide maintained that he served diligently while in office and never collected money from Chief Uwazuruike or  in any land matter concerning him.

He stressed that all claims linking him to bribery or illegal transactions should be disregarded by the public.

Amb. Prince Paschal Nwakamma also warned that Chief Ralph Uwazuruike as a chief should not speak from the two side of his mouth.

He noted that Uwazuruike should also present his evidence of payment or the phone number that sent him the account number to pay in to the same members of the public to see for themselves.

He therefore urged the public to remain calm and avoid being misled by unverified allegations spreading on social media, reaffirming his commitment to upholding truth, accountability and due process at all times.
