As Alhaji Umar Nasko, the anointed PDP Governorship Candidate battles with eligibility questions based on tainted documents submitted to the PDP National Working Committee, it is also gathered that the Governor wants to install someone who will be a deputy governor who he will continue to control.
Dr. Mua’zu Babangida Aliyu has further submitted four names for the party’s consideration to serve as Nasko’s deputy, an action clearly showing that the Governor wants to leave office and still control the next administration.
These names include; Professor Yahaya Kuta, the present commissioner for Agriculture and supervising Commissioner for tertiary education in Niger state. Others are, Hon. Saidu Idris Ndako, a son of Late. Etsu Nupe who happens to be Engr. AA Kure’s Nomination and Hon. Saba
Yet, Engr. Kure still maintains not to be running a back-yard affair with Dr. Aliyu’s imposing of Alhaji Umar Nasko on Nigerlites.
