Dr. Audu Tasks Christian To Protest Over Growing Carnality In The Church Than Protest Over Worldliness

The Chairman of the 33 years Anniversary Celebration of the Regional Church Council, RCC, Shendam Branch of Church of Christ in Nations, COCIN, Hon, Dr. Ponfa Audu has charged all   Christian faithful world over to protest over the falling standard of spiritual values against the circular protest over the worldliness and desires for wealth.

 

Speaking to the congregation at the headquarters of the COCIN, RCC at the 33 years anniversary on Saturday, Audu challenged the religious leaders to imbibe the spirit of tolerance and forgiveness.

 

 

He emphasized the need for all religious leaders to work for the unity of this country by promoting peaceful coexistence amongst all ethnic tribes in Nigeria.

 

Dr. Ponfa Audu expresses worried about the rising cases of conflict and kidnapping and banditry in the country by appealing to politicians to eschew violence.

 

He said, as the RCC clock the age of 33 years of commitment and being in the vineyard of God, we should continue to encourage the spiritual growth and commitment towards healthy competition.

 

Dr. Audu urged Nigerians to focus more on love and unity irrespective of our religious differences, we should continue to rebuild on the spiritual blessing rather than on the world things.

 

Dr. Ponfa Audu, tasked clergymen and the body of Christ to ensure love and unity and to put into practice the teaching of God as the world is fast growing into hatred.

 

However, thousands of Christian faithful across the state witness the event which marks the unity of purpose between believers including top COCIN leaders and politicians.

 

He explained the reasons for marking the 33 years anniversary of the RCC  Shendam Branch of COCIN  to revamp the spiritual values and maintain the spirit of togetherness.
