The Department for International Development, DFID, Jigawa state office has trained 147 staff of the Jigawa State Emergency and Protection Agency, JISEPA on COVID-19 infection and its control and prevention.
The executive secretary of the Jigawa State Emergency and Protection Agency, JISEPA, Malam Yusif Suleiman who disclosed that to newsmen shortly after the training said staffs who benefited from the training were drawn from the 27 Local Government Areas of the state.
He said the training began on Monday and ended on Wednesday and that it is aimed at sensitizing the environmental workers on how to control the COVID-19 infection.
