Delta Decides Coordinator, Darlington Loses Father

The father of Delta Decides coordinator, Mr. Darlington Okonma is dead.

Late Jonny Okonma died on Friday at University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) after a brief illness.

He died at the age of 70 years.

Delta Decides Board of Trustees Chairman, Comr. Egbonimali Shedrack, in a press statement issued on Saturday, announced the death.

According to the statement, Pa Jonny Okonma died in UBTH after a brief illness.

Comr. Egbonimali, who lamented over the demise, commiserated with family and relatives of Pa Jonny.

He particularly sympathised with Mr. Darlington on the loss of a great father, whom he described as a man of integrity and peace.

He prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased, saying that he died at a time the state relied on his useful advice and wealth of experience.

Burial arrangements to be announced by the Okonma family.
