Kidnappers on Thursday night released the kidnapped father of senator Joshua Dariye in Qua’anpan Local Government Area of Plateau state.
The former Governor, chief Joshua Dariye is the current senatorial candidate of People Democratic Party ,PDP ,in Plateau central senatorial district .
You will recall that the 80 year-old grandfather was kidnapped on the Saturday the 7th February,2015 in the midnight .
The house of the senator Dariye was full of many sympathizers across the state , Senator Joshua Dariye who also said he was full of joy expressed happiness that God has done wonderful thing to the family.
He was full of praises to God by thanking the security for their effort which show the security are working very hard , we give God the glory .I saw love in action and Governor Jonah David Jang was also in the house to condolence and sympathize with us .
The Police spokesman Abuh Emmanuel confirmed the rescue to our correspondent that the 80 year-old Dariye Dufuan was brought in this morning by the DPO of Qua’anpan LGA to the senator family house in Jos South LGA in Angwan Doki .
Baba Dariye Dufuan appeared full of laughter and greeting all the sympathizers compound thanking God for what happened to him.
One of the family member Pastor Jonah Yildum described the happening as unfortunate and new to the people of Plateau state .
Dariye thanks the good people of Plateau state for their support to the family during a time like this. He added that the people of the state are not known with the kidnapping but thank God for the rescue of my father. Yildum lauded the security personnel in their effort to track down the kidnappers in time, we pray that God should touch their hearts so that they will repent from this evil way . And prayer was conducted in the compound for the return of peace stressing is a sign of victory to the family.
