A renowned Imo-based journalist, Hon. Deacon Daniel Opara aka Danjay, has been officially appointed to serve as a Media Assistant to the Imo State House of Assembly, IMHA, Member Representing Owerri-West State Constituency, Hon.Chief Kanayo Onyemaechi Dele ( Egbe Eji Eje Ogu).
Comr.Danjay’s appointment by the Oforolla-born-Owerri-West lawmaker, Chief Onyemaechi, is strictly aimed and targeted at aiding in the promotion of the legislative activities of the legislature in the Imo 10th House of Assembly and ensuring that the good people of Owerri- West are adequately informed with the legislative achievements and leadership prowess of the lawmaker.
Note that Hon.Onyemaechi is the Imo 10th Assembly Majority Leader and Chairman of, House Committee on Lands and Urban Development (OCDA) at the Imo House of Assembly.
The appointment letter which was signed by the lawmaker, dated 26th July 2023, reads:” It is with great pleasure to inform you that you have been officially appointed as the Publicity & Media Personnel in Umunwoha Bloc (Irete, Orogwe, Ndegwu, Ohii and Amakaohia-Ubi Communities in Owerri West State Constituency, through the office of the Majority Leader,Imo State House of Assembly;
The offer commences from 1st August 2023. Please, kindly acknowledge the duplicate copy of your appointment letter as an acceptance”.

Speaking after receiving his appointment letter, Deacon Daniel Opara aka Danjay, expressed satisfaction with the offer bestowed upon him by his lawmaker whom he described as a great man with a large heart.
Danjay, while receiving the letter, appreciated the kind gesture by Hon.Onyemaechi, even as he promised to deliver effectively as a Media Personnel attached to the legislature.
”I am very happy, I know the job of the media, and I will not disappoint my boss. I am assuring Nigerians, Imolites, the people of Owerri-West in general, and the people of Umunwoha Bloc in particular of my media prowess.
Recalled that the sound, vibrant, and wonderful Imo-born-Owerri-West lawmaker, Chief Onyemaechi, during his 2023 reelection campaigns, promised to fulfill all promises made to his constituents.
