He was attack on the road while traveling to Pil Gani to condole members of his family who lost a beloved one.

The People of Wase local Government Area of Plateau state have been encouraged not to allow anything that would undermine the enduring peace being enjoyed in the area.

Governor Simon Bako Lalong who made this call last Tuesday in continuation of his thank you visit of local governments areas in the state encouraged the people to live peacefully and to cooperate with the government to enable it actualize its laudable plans for people.

The late Dankum Gbongven was born in Sambaru, of Bwarat Busari , he began his childhood as a nomadic who settled down in Kukawa before the 1998 crisis that displaced them to Langtang North Local Government Area .

However, after the peace parley initiated between community’s leaders the fresh silent killings in Wase LGA has called for serious concern.

The  local government which is the  headquarters of solid minerals stands better chance of becoming  resource control center when the federal government policy on transformation of agriculture and mineral fully takes off.

Given the synopsis of some of the killings and displacement Tarok in over 200 villages , the chairman of the management committee of Wase Dr. Ado Buba said peace had return to the council .

It  was gathered that the road linking the Wase Headquarters is a no go area for the Tarok speaking native since after the crisis that broke up in the area.

The Tarok called on the President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure adequate  measures are taken to curtail further breakdown of law and order as the council were fingered for the sponsoring of the mayhem.
