Dalung Suspended From SDP

The former Minister for Youths and Sports Development in Nigeria ,Barr. Solomon Selcap Dalung has been suspended from the party ,Social Democratic Party ,SDP, by alleged Chairman of Sabo -Gida ward ,Mr Nanmwa Dangnan for anti-party activities .

The Letter of suspension from the party read; “It is with regret that ,the Social Democratic party ,Sabon Gida ward is writing to inform you of your suspension from the party. This action has been taken due to your anti-party activities ,which have been found to be in contravention of the value and principles of our party .

In SDP we try to maintain high standards of integrity ,transparency and accountability in all our actions and dealings ,it has come to our attention that you have engaged in activities that are detrimental to the overall interest of the party and its members .

” Your actions have caused significant harm to the reputation and credibility of the Social Democratic party .

In light of the above ,we have no other but to suspend you from the party with immediate effect .

This suspension will remain in place pending the outcome of a full investigation into the matter .We believe the matter ,we believe that this course of action is necessary to protect the party and its members from further harm “.

We would like to reminds you that as a member of the social Democratic party ,you have a responsibility to uphold the party values .We hope that you will take this time to reflect on your actions and work forwards reconciling with the party “.

However in a swift reaction to the letter ,Dalung refused vehemently that there is nothing to reply them but the purported written letter was coming from unknown SDP members .

According to him ,as the former minister ,iam yet to come across such name calling Nanmwa Dangnan sadly not from my ward and the person who signed it the true identity can’t be trace .

He said ,his letter of suspension for anti-party activities by one Nanmwa Dangnan lack locus standi by a faceless person coming from the opposition to score cheap popularity .

Speaking with our correspondence on phone while reacting to the “letter of suspension from the party ” signed by Nanmwa Dangnan who post as Ward Chairman of Social Democratic Party ,SDP, in Sabo Gida Chairman of Langtang South Local Government Council of Plateau State .

Dalung debunked that the allegations is baseless and unfounded and orchestrated by perpetual by the opposition party to create confusion among party faithful .

He explained further that there is no any card carrying member of Langtang South bearing such a name and disguising as Chairman of Sabo Gida ward Chairman .

Solomon Dalung called on the general public to disregard ,the fake letter of suspension from my ward.
