Crisis Hits Bauchi Govt, As Budget And Planning Commissioner, Barau Ningi Resigns

Crisis may have hit Governor Abubakar’s Government following the resignation of one of his Commissioners.

Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Barau Ningi has resigned his appointment with immediate effect.

Ningi made addressing newsmen said his decision to resign followed lack of due process and good governance, as well as absence of enabling environment to function effectively as well as intra-party crisis hitting the ruling party in the State.

He also said that the exclusion Ningi Emirate from projects awarded recently in some areas in the state also formed the reasons for his resignation.

Adding further he said notable groups were sideline in political appointments in the State.
