Court Dissolves 45 Years Old Marriage Over Sex Starvation.
An Igando customary court in Lagos has dissolved a 45 years old marriage of two retired teachers over sex denial by wife.
The Court presided by R,I A Adeyere, held that efforts to reconcile Ephenus Ikuomola 75, and Esther, 68 proved futile as the man insisted on divorce.
Adeyere ruled that the children of the couple, age 38, 37 and 35 were old enough to decide where to live.
Ephenus had filed a divorce suit on February 14, saying Esther starved him of sex.
“Different men bring my wife home in cars and she denied me sex anytime I entered her room to make love to her” he said.
“She also threatened my life, she gave me a piece of cake to eat but I was not in the mood to eat that day, I kept the cake in the room, and by the following day the cake turned black”
Esther however, denied all the allegations” I did not deny him sex, he abandoned his home and I cannot carry myself looking for him for sex” she said
