Court Dismisses Charges Against Nze Chidi Duru

Today Justice Peter Affen of Court 24 FCT High Court Maitama in the Matter of FRN V Nze Chidi Duru in a 2 hours ruling on the Preliminary Objection filed by Counsel to Nze Chidi Duru quashed and dismissed the 4 Counts Charge preferred against Nze Duru by the Efcc as being an Abuse of Court Processs, vexatious, annoying and meant to embarrass Nze Chidi Duru.

Justice Peter Afen  found that the charge is predicated, connected with and related with the Pencom Target Examination on First Guarantee Pension Limited which report had been nullified, voided and vitiated by a court of Competent Jutisdiction.

He  found that the EFCC had earlier withdrawn a similar charge in a Lagos High Court that is in all fours as the one preferred in his Court against Nze Chidi Duru which the EFCC on its own volition withdraw with a clear statement that their is nothing criminal against Nze Chidi Duru.

Nze Chidi Duru had always contended that this particular as in the other charges against him is simply a ploy by the sacked DG OF National Pension Commission Chinelo Anohu-amazu and Kashim Ibrahim Imam to criminally appropriate his business First Guarantee Pension in the last six years.
