The Chairman and secretary of Wase LGA, Dr. Ado Abubakar Buba and Secretary Hon Ibrahim Galadima Adamu respectively has congratulated the new Deputy Speaker Rt Hon Idris Maje Wase for the just concluded election at red chamber which is a great achievement to the Plateau.
The Council boss described the victory of Rt Hon Idris Maje Wase as a great politician who has touched the lives of many citizens by impacting positively in people devote of religious and tribal sentiment.
He said Maje is a visionary leader so the people of the state are proud of his choice because he has done enough to see that the state uses its human capital development towards creating employment to vulnerable citizens.
Dr. Buba said since the creation of Wase Local Government Council in 1976 the indigenes have been suffering untold hardship on how to transport their farm produce to the nearest market as an agrarian community.
Dr. Abubakar Buba appealed to the member representing Wase Federal constituency, Rt Hon Idris Maje Wase to attract for more federal projects especially in the area of road construction, electrification of rural and urban areas to connect agrarian communities with the national grid.
He made this disclosure on Friday at the LGA secretariat in Wase during the official inauguration ceremony of the newly appointed chief of staff, DG, research /documentation, advisers, SSA and SA of the LGA secretariat.
Dr. Ado Abubakar Buba said I feel highly delighted to address you all this morning on the occasion at swearing-in of the newly appointed Chief of Staff, Director General research and Documentation, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants of Wase Local Government Council.
He noted that this is happening as a result of widespread Consultations with highly respected elders of the Local Government and critical stakeholders of our great party, the All Progressive Congress (APC).
“You will recall that in November 20l8 a similar occasion took place when I sworn-in the council secretary and the supervisory councilors were informed them that the task before us is not an easy one as it is indeed daunting, tasking, herculean and challenging but not insurmountable”, he said.
Just as you shall be expected to be a vital appendage of the Executive Chairman and the A.P.C in the long run in the discharge of your official functions, on the one hand, you shall equally play the roles worthy. Ambassadors of your various community and advisors to me on the other without losing touch with our people at the Grassroot.
He tasked the political class to maintain unity amongst them by promoting peaceful coexistence so that we can live together in peace and harmony irrespective of our differences.
The Secretary Hon Ibrahim Galadima Adamu also disclosed that the articulated manifesto of our great party APC can’t be abandon or neglected but we promise to continue holding the spirit in providing good governance to the citizens.
Adamu urged them that they must always be our reference point because assured the electorate of our mandate of working toward qualitative leadership devote of sentiment.
Speaking further, the secretary maintained that they are going to consolidating on the game of democracy and people-oriented programs we had introduced 55 ongoing projects across the 4 Districts of the Local Government Area.
Hon Ibrahim Galadima stressed that they have already completed 90% while the remaining 10% are still ongoing across the 4 wards of Wase LGA.
He urged the people of Wase LGA the council budget of grassroots transformation would be completed to its fullest.
