Local Government Council Chairman of Langtang-South Hon. Nancwat Bendel has promised to put an end to the problem of cattle rustling and insurgency affecting the southern senatorial district.
Hon. Nancwat stated this yesterday at Green House to congratulate the Governor- elect on his landslide victory at the poll .
He assured the governor-elect that the problem and crisis in the Southern Zone of Plateau state will soon be a thing of the past.
Bendel also maintained that our political deferences should not tear us apart but to serve as a strength ,our local communities are not the major problem what we are facing now is the Fulani herdsmen that are responsible for causing unnecessary crises amongst the people who always come and attack us.
He called on the security agencies to increase their security survillance by providing adequate measure that will help the incoming administration of Bar. Simon Lalong to govern the state under peaceful atmosphere.
According to him , the elections is the choice of the electorates and the emergence of Bar. Lalong as the governor-elect in Plateau state is the wish of the people!, by scoring the highest vote at the April 11 guber poll.
The Chairman of Jos-North local government Hon Danjuma Sanda also affirmed that, the 2015 general election remain the most peaceful election ever recorded in the state capital”.
Sanda appreciated the effort of President Goodluck Jonathan for keeping the country together by conceiving defeat even before the formal declaration of result by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Adding that, Mr President has stand on his word that. “His ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian”.
The Chairman added that with the delicate nature of Jos-north local government area in the state. “We did not recorded any blood-bath again as well as snatching of ballot boxes, ballot papers or anything that might have mare the election.
While congratulating the governor-elect Bar. Lalong, he stresses that, politicking always have different interest, election has come and gone and the victory of Barister Lalong is the voice of the people.
He thanked the governor-elect for embracing everyone in the state devoid of who vote him or not.
