Correspondents’ Chapel Nasarawa State Commends Management of NTA For Appointing Ace Reporter As GM NTA Lafia

The Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists,Nasarawa State Council has commended the management of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA)  for appointing an Ace Reporter, Hamza Musa Makarfi as the General Manager of NTA, Lafia.

The chairman, Suleiman Abubakar stated this when the Correspondents’ Chapel paid him a solidarity visit over his recent appointment and posting to Lafia station.

The chairman described the ace reporter as the backbone of Nasarawa Correspondents’ Chapel, saying the history of the Correspondents’ Chapel of the NUJ would not be complete without mentioning Hamza Musa Makarfi.

Abubakar pray for God’s guidance and protection during his assignment in NTA Lafia as the G.M.

The General Manager in his response commended the Chapel for the shower of solidarity over his elevation and posting to NTA, Lafia.

He called on the Correspondents’ Chapel to imbibe on the spirit of building a virile society by embarking on reportage that would ensure national coercion.

He however harps on building a deep relationship and partnership as well to bring ideas to develop Nasarawa State.

Hamza Musa Makarfi emphasize on the need to abide by the code profession of Journalism.

The national vice president of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, zone D, Chief Wilson Bako (J. P)  in a vote of thanks appreciate the Nigeria Television Authority for appointing a talent, describing the appointment as worthy.

In addition says NTA Lafia station is passing through changes with the recent appointment of the new headship, saying Makarfi has put his best when he was a member of the Correspondents’ Chapel in the state.

“This is home coming and I assure you of the total support and cooperation of the Chapel”.

Wilson Bako applauded governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura for the ongoing construction of workers village-NTA road, urging the governor to speed up the road been neglected by successive administrations.
