The Coalition for the Protection of Democracy (COPDEM) has extended warm congratulations to Mr. Peter Obi on his ratification as the Presidential Candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2027 General Elections.
In a statement signed by its National Chairman, Prince Rwang Pam Jnr, COPDEM described Obi’s emergence as a significant milestone that reflects his proven commitment to good governance, transparency, accountability, and people-centered leadership.
The statement reads in part.

The Coalition commended Mr. Peter Obi and his running mate, former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and wished them success in the journey ahead.
