There was jubilation when a crowd gathered in Shendam on Saturday 3rd June 2023 when the Member Representing Shendam, Mikang &, Quanpan Federal Constituency, Hon Alphonsus Komsol Longgap launched another massive Empowerment programme to mark the end of his leadership as Federal House of Representatives.
The Members of constituents commended Komsol for his massive Empowerment that benefited thousands of constituents. Within the last quarter of his tenure.
Hon. Komsol empowered members of his constituency with Tractors, sewing machines, pumping machines, Grinding machines and other food items on April 23rd 2023.
Last week two days to end of his tenure as Reps Member, Hon. Komsol distributed Sewing machines, grinding machines and cash grants of N100k each to 500 beneficiaries in his constituency amounted to N50 million.
The massive empowerment programme was graced by traditional Rulers and stakeholders cut across the three Local Government Areas in the Constituency.
They expressed their gratitude to Hon Komsol for the massive empowerment of their people, His Royal Highness Lawrence Lityong Nashel of Long Piapung Mikang LGA, who was in attendance thanked the Reps Member for his love for the people.
HRH Lawrence who witnessed the distribution of Sewing machines, grinding machines and cash grants of N100k each to the beneficiaries applauded Hon Komsol for the massive Empowerment of their people.
” I must comment our son, Hon Komsol for improving the socio-economic wellbeing of our people.
We are grateful for your commitment towards developing entrepreneurship amongst our Youths, ” he said.

While thanking the Hon Member, the District Head of Bwall HRH Miskagam Jerome Leklat appreciated Komsol for remembering his people.
Also the district head of Doemak HRH Miskagam Cosmos NDELONG in his remarks Appreciates Hon Komsol for giving good representation to his people. ” We have benefitted from your laudable programme that brings food to our People “. We thank you most sincerely “.
There was also a district head of Kwa.
HRH IGNATIUS DIDEL who on behalf of his community appreciated Hon Komsol for the Massive Empowerment of his people.
There are youth leaders, Church leaders and other stakeholders who benefitted from the empowerment programme organised by Member representing Shendam Mikang Quanpan Federal Constituency Hon Alphonsus Komsol Longgap empowered.
Hon. Komsol Longgap who has his people at heart don’t leave any stone unturned in term of capacity building and social development. He has dementia distinctions in his leadership and representation to the constituents.
Other traditional Rulers present during the empowerment programme are Miskoom Kenneth Kwapsan kwaptoe Madakin Shendam who also expressed gratitude to Hon Komsol Longgap for improving the socio-economic well-being of their people.
Many other concerned stakeholders, including the former House of Assembly members, expressed satisfaction with Hon Komsol leadership in serving humanity.
