Commissioners Threatens Showdown With Gov. Jang Over Unpaid Entitlements

Gov-JangBarely 24 hours to the exit of the present government in Plateau state there is palpable trouble between the outgoing commissioners and the chief executive Governor Jonah over financial mistrust.

The outgoing Commissioners have concluded plans to revolts over an alleged upright refusal of the governor to pay them their entitlement.

Information reaching us indicates that the Commissioners, other aides and staff of the ministries who for some time now went into hidden suddenly re-appeared expecting government to settle them, but all was to no avail.

Universalreporters247.com gathered that all the contractors were seeing sleeping in the house of the commissioner of Finance Hon .Davou Mang as they went berserk to demonstrate their grievances.

The contractors refused to vacate the resident of the commissioner as they threatened to lock Jang during the dinner celebration which is schedule to hold by 7PM to usher new government.

However, It was alleged that all the staff of Plateau state government including the media people were left in the cold without any parting gifts which is a tradition in the history of the state.

Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau state had yesterday brought his administration to an end with the commissioning of 7.9 billion naira new government house at little Rayfield and name Lamingo Road after President Obasanjo.

Jang stated yesterday at the commissioning ceremony of the multibillion edifice which is equipped to international standard.

He promised that Plateau state will never remain the same inspite of the outside conspiracy against the people of the state, we have to move forward nobody can change the history of Plateau state except God .

The outgoing governor explained that the project which lasted for 3 years after acquiring the land God directed him pray for the development of people of the state.

He said,”I dedicated this road in remembrance of our past President Obasanjo who awarded the road construction in 1976 but was abandoned by past government so when came in as the civil president :Obasanjo pleaded with me to complete it.

Gov. Jang said ,he has work very hard to transformed Plateau state to made PDP government achieve 3 pillar policy of building Plateau to an enviable high.

He added that the road construction cost the total of 3.7 billion linking Yakubu Gowon five stars hotel which is still abandoned since 1976.

Jang urged the incoming government to commission more ongoing projects littered across the state.
