The provost College Of Education, Akwanga, Dr. Rebecca Isaac Umar has called on indigent students of Nasarawa State to take advantage of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria Akwanga campus to gets their degree in education.
Speaking to the state executive of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Nasarawa state council, Dr.Umar urged students with teaching carrier to utilize the opportunity of the degree awarding instead of going too far away and to neighboring states to acquire degree in education.
She affirmed that five degree courses were accredited by the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE).
The provost asserted that 26 courses out of 28 got full accreditation while 2 are on interim accreditation; she further said the accredited courses for the degree programs include Arts and Science courses respectively.
