Chairman Of Yelli RPDP Is Dead

The Chairman of rPDP of Yelli Ward, Kojoli, Jada LGA, Adamawa State, Mr. Philip Buji, is dead. Mr. Buji died this morning in Jada Cottage Hospital after a brief illness, according to a statement issued by rPDP Publicity Secretary, Hon. Ibrahim Ahidjo Karlahi.

Philip Buji first made headlines when he was arrested in April this year by the police on matters that were believed to be purely political. Along with three others, he was charged of terrorism but the charges were subsequently withdrawn. The issue ultimately led to the unceremonious deployment out of the state of the Police Commissioner, Mr. Madaki.

The deceased is survived by a wife and many children.
