Chairman Nasarawa Council of Chiefs Endorse Engr. Sule For Second Term

The Chairman Nasarawa State Council of Chiefs, Retired Justice Sidi Bage has endorsed Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule for a second term in office.

 

The paramount ruler says the endorsement of Engr. Sule for the second term would enable him to complete all the laudable projects he started. The calls for continuity was coming shortly after a media chat with Governor Sule when he said going for the second time is not a “do or die affairs.

 

This revelation continued to generate tension from and within the State over the Governor’s utterances which he said he would retire after completing his one year term to Saudi Arabia or the United State of America to continue with his private engagements.

 

Abdullahi Sule confided that it is not in any way threatened by what the public is chanting “One Tenure Governor”.

 

He said the chanting of only one tenure would not shake him if ruling the State for just a single term of office was for the interest of the people.

 

The engineer turn politician thanked God for the opportunity given to him to serve the State with utmost sincerity to lead the State to an enviable height.

 

While fielding questions from Journalists, he said his freedom has been trampled upon by his present position.

 

“My freedom was trampled upon because as a Governor I can’t drive myself to Ikoyi while in Lagos State”.

 

“During my days in Dangote all we do is counting and expecting profits but here in Government House is all about sharing of money to the people”.
