Chairman Miyyeti Allah Benue State Calls On Federal Govt To Disband Benue Anti Grazing Law

The Chairman of Miyyeti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, Benue State, Ubbi Haruna has appealed to the Federal Government under the able leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari to as a matter of urgency stops the anti-grazing law in the state.

Haruna described the law as anti-Fulani policy meant to spark a crisis in the country, Ubbi stated this during a press conference held at Dunoma Plaza at the weekend.

The Chairman decried the mass exodus of herders from the Benue trough to Nasarawa State.

Also reacting over the open grazing Law, the monarch of Fulani from Otukpo, Benue State, Risku Mohammed Otukpo described the decision as a wrong decision.

Stating that Fulani herdsmen are foisted to leave Benue state.

“How do you expect something good from this law”.

No ranches were provided and they directed that cattle should not touch the sand Of Benue state or herders should use a train to convey our cattle”.

“Fulani’s are treated with disdain as we have nowhere to go to.
