Celebration Of Igbo Young Business Icons: Eastern Heritage Award Awards Orji, Osuagwu, Uzor Others In Owerri

As part of celebrating excellence in the South-Eastern States, an innovative platform in Nigeria ably known as “Eastern Heritage Award,(EastHA)”,last Saturday, April 13th 2019,at Rockview Hotels Owerri, honoured, recognized and  showcased young Igbo sons (daughters)  who have distinguished themselves as outstanding individuals from across the Five (5) Eastern States of Nigeria namely: Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo State, as employers of labour, entrepreneurs and well repute business magnets.

 

The theme of the 2019 annual Eastern Heritage Award ceremony: “Promoting Growth and Advancement in the East; Key to Success Factors”.

 

Those awarded include:” Hon. Chinedu Theo Orji, son of the immediate past Governor of Abia State, Hon.Engr.Francis Uzor, the CEO of Orange Room International Owerri,  Chief Sir.Collins Osuagwu, the 2019 Imo Governorship Candidate, and Chief Engr. John Bosco Onunkwu, others are Mr.Andrew Obi, MD/CEO of Andremovich Group, Barr. Ikechukwu Uwanna, a Lagos based lawyer, who is the Secretary of Lagos Branch of NBA, member NEC of NBA, Engr. Chidomere Ndubuisi, CEO of Pantech Organization, and a well-known entertainer in Imo State, DJ Parky”, were amongst those award recipients.

 

Speaking in his delight, the Managing Partner, EastHA, Mr. Robinson Koyoyo expressed satisfaction to witness the successful outing and noted that the quality of the future development in the East is dependent on the readiness of the govt. and the private sectors to eliminate bottlenecks, ensure collective development, encourage high-quality education, a laudable initiative such as EastHA, which he described as a platform that engenders peace, excellence, level creativity, and social responsibility.

“We have to convey to young entrepreneurs and the nation, especially the govt.in the Eastern States that hard work is not only important rather it is also rewarding and fun”, but Koyoyo also submitted.

 

The Managing Partner, Koyoyo, further revealed and described EastHA as an initiative of “Heritage-Plus”, which is poised towards exceeding expectations positively in Eastern Nigeria.

 

According to the management and leadership of EastHA,” the award ceremony means to identify patriots with proven track records in their private and public sectors”.
