The President National Association of Catholic Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (ACMPN) Dr Henrietta Williams has challenged the women folks in the world to imbibe the spirit of forgiveness and tolerance in their conducts.

Mrs Williams stated this at the international scientific conference and 10th Annual General Meeting held at sacred Heart pastoral center, Jenta Adamu, Jos.

The Conference under the theme, “Technological advances in medicine& Catholic doctrine”, She condemned the attacks on human life by agencies of western civilization such as the United Nations, UNFPA’ world health organization, IMF ,World bank .

According to her, most of these agencies disguise as sexual and productive health for sterilization contraceptives, abortion and vitro fertilization which is been enforced globally by sexual and reproductive rights.

Williams noted that human life and human family are under attack at all stages by policies such as the rights to homosexuality, bestiality, and same sex marriages.

Rev. Professor Cletus Tanimu Gotan said, all these years of democratic government in Nigeria in a stretch ,has not advance enough democratically .

He expressed dismay that it had a long tortured history of wobbling and dancing around democracy but has never gotten it right.

Gotan has challenged that the country remained a mere civilian not a true democratic government so let concrete of problem on how reposition the country for better productivity.

He called on the church to help pro-democracy movement toward promoting good governance which effect will stabilize the steady economic development.

The professor appealed for corrupt free society and to increase in moral value.
