Buhari’s Associate Arrested For Criticizing Bauchi Governor

A very close associate of President of Muhammadu Buhari in Bauchi State Wakili Isah Damba, who was also staunch member of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change, CPC has been arrested by the Department of State Services, DSS, also arrested is on Hamisu Ahmed Salele, alongside four other persons.

As learnt univesalreporters247.com, their arrested was based on a petition written by the Bauchi State Commissioner of Finance, Alhaji Garba Sarki Akuyam alleging Wakili and the other five were allegedly plotting to stone Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar of Bauchi state.

However, investigations by this medium revealed that the arrested persons frequently criticize the Governor of Bauchi state, Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar on radio programs.

The Commissioner of Finance, Alhaji Garba Sarki Akuyam, investigations by this medium revealed, is behind their arrest and ordeal.

The commissioner, who hails from the same constituency with Hon. Ahmed Yarima whom he sees as bitterest rival wrote a petition against them and claimed that they were plotting to stone Governor Mohammed Abubakar.

Further investigations also revealed that the Commissioner who hails from the same constituency with Hon Ahmed Yarima is having a fierce political rivalry with the member representing Misau/Dambam federal constituency, and the arrested persons are believe to be associated with Hon. Yarima.

As learnt by universalreporters247.com, Wakili Isah Dambam is former Assistant Financial Secretary of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, he also contested for the post of Financial Secretary in Bauchi State, and that he is one of the close political associates of the then national leader of the CPC, party, General Muhammadu Buhari.

As it is they have been under custody for days without allowing the access to their lawyers.
