Buhari Commissions Federal Secretariat Built By PDP Government In Nasarawa

President Muhammadu Buhari has commissioned the new State “of the art” Federal secretariat in Lafia and named it after the Emir of Lafia, His Royal Highness, Muhammad Sidi Bage, a retired Judge of the Supreme Court.

The multi-million naira would accommodate a multitude of Federal Government ministries Departments and agencies, the Federal Secretariat was a project initiated by the then administration of President Good luck Jonathan which was at 70 percent completion.

President Muhammadu Buhari also commissioned the Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Development Institute (AMEDI), Lafia, it could be recalled that PMB who was on a two-day working visit to Nasarawa State in February 2022 commissioned Akurba substation, a Federal Government project initiated by then PDP as well as the permanent site of the apex bank, the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Other projects he commissioned are the 2km Rice mill-Command Secondary Lafia-Shinge road, the Wing Commander Abdullah Ibrahim Vocational Training Centre, Lafia, and the multi-billion naira Kwandare  Airport, Lafia.

The Wing Commander Abdullah Ibrahim Vocational Training Centre Lafia and the multi billion naira Kwandare Airport Lafia are projects initiated by the former Governor of the State, Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.

Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura who spoke on behalf of APC Governor’s forum described Nasarawa State as the home of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Giving the President the assurance that APC will deliver Nasarawa State from top to bottom.

Urging party supporters to be firm and steadfast by ensuring the party remains victorious in all the elections.
